Description

The traditional Chinese pillow box is a well-known object. With its slightly softer leather sloping lid, it was used by travelers centuries ago to guard their money and jewels during the night. They would place important valuables in the elegant box and then sleep with their head resting on it – hence the name.  This collectible is adorned with hand-painted dragons and measures 12x4x7 inches.  Delivery in the Bay Area only.
